Fit the wall
We plan cabinet widths and shelf heights around the fireplace, television, and wall dimensions. Fireplace clearances need to be confirmed with your builder using the fireplace specifications.
Choose open or enclosed storage
Use open shelves for books and display, with cabinets or drawers below. Arched openings, floating shelves, and wood countertops are options to discuss in the design.
Plan for equipment
Send the television size and dimensions of any equipment going inside the cabinets. We plan cable access with the cabinet layout; ventilation and outlet locations need to be confirmed before installation.
